In an abstract manner, this painting is an vision of the Past, Present, and Future in my creative visual kind of way, which gives birth the name of this piece "Space Walking!" A pair of Nike Air-Force One sneakers hanging from a street light wire is not only an iconic symbol for the black communities, many popular ghettos, and for a lot of today's rap imaging through media. It also represents "Hustle for better" to those young children in those comminutes that gaze from under. Wondering why someone would put a fresh pair of kicks up there....!?
And for many others, it's a shoe that rides with you until literally the sole falls off...
I pay my respect to one of my favorite sneakers and the creative Design of the Air-Force One sneaker always being adaptable in any era we live in since the sneaker was launched. I'm sure one day it will be the first sneaker to surly Space Walk across this Universe soon enough.
